Though they were not an arts and entertainment client of ours, we are incredibly proud to have aided in the growth of Virtual Technology Corp over the past 6 years as they've worked their way from a 3-person technology provider, to a multi-million dollar, 250-employee company. Now, we wish them the very best as they've become a key division of Raytheon. Find the press release here.

When we heard that our friends and collaborators at Pound Interactive were out of power after the hurricane hit Boca raton, we invited them over to work out of the Temple and they quickly took us up on the offer.

The film, Say Yes Quickly got an 8-out-of-10 review! Read it for yourself. Damn. I am so happy and proud of both Gregg and Rachel... heck, the whole team that brought it to the screen! Read our earlier post about the film and send out some good vibes that it continues to get seen.

We had the pleasure of attending the premiere screening of a new animated series by Ethan Long. We've worked with Ethan and Farm Force Producer, Robin Cowie (of Blair Witch fame), and its a real treat to see them continue to succeed.

Congratulations are in order for Gregg Hale of Haxan. His feature film, Say Yes Quickly, will have its world premiere at the 2005 Palm Springs International Film Festival. We are so proud to have been a part of the film's development. We not only created the logo, poster and collateral for the film, but also created the on-screen graphics seen in the film.

We are proud to announce that our friends at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central Florida earned a notable rank as the 17th highest grossing fundraising event this year for their annual WishMaker's Ball. For the second year running, Juicy Temples designed the event invitation and program. This year, the event raised $230,244 to benefit wish children in Central Florida—we're honored to be a part of such a successful event.

Here in the States, we are hearing NOTHING of the absolute devastation that our neighbors to the South have faced after hurricane Ivan. Our friends and clients in the Cayman Islands have been hit harder than many of us here can imagine. As the island is a part of the British Commonwealth, they are recieving military assistance form England -- it is our sincerest desire that somehow the U.S. can pitch in. Our hearts go out to all of those in Cayman as well as Grenada. And if we have complained about losing trees, a few shingles, and some standing water in our lawns, we offer our apologies.

To our wonderful clients in the Caribbean, especially those of you in Turks, we send our best wishes for a speedy recovery from the storm damage... this, as we brace ourselves for the same abuse by hurricane Frances.

This Sunday, Randy and his mates at City & Co. will be performing at the Social (downtown Orlando) with Rainer Maria, and one of our old-time faves, Engine Down. Come drink a toast with us -- to good friends, good music, and good times.

Our good friend Mark Unger popped in today to tell us about how he collaborated with one of our faves, Group 94 in Belgium, to put together a new site for one of Orlando's burgeoning ad agencies.

Klaus here. In NYC today. The greatest city on earth. Barbara Glauber of Heavy Meta studio gave us an hour of her precious time to talk about life and work in this great place. Her work for They Might Be Giants is awesome. Tons of publication work for museums and galleries, is very inspiring. I'd post a link to her studio site, but I cant find one. Thanks Barbara!

Three straight weeks of work with no vacation came to an end this Friday... spent the day partying lakeside in the Ocala National forest with the folks from Push. I can't say enough about how fun it was to be included in such an awesome group of ad folks. Anyway, did I mention that their traffic manager is a hottie? It's true. Actually, they all are ;-) Peace, Klaus.

That American Jewish boy (and I do mean boy) who's gone to hunker down with Arafat. While the rest of the world, yes even us lazy f-ing Americans, sit back and cry "suicide bombers" or "occupation"... here's someone thats totally willing to throw his arms around the "enemy" and take a stand for peace. If I have to hear about his family being persecuted in the states any more I'll just have to puke. What we need to do is train hundreds of thousands of kids to wrap a hankercheif (sp?) around their heads rather than bombs around their waist and send them into battle-zones with nothing but love in their hearts. Not that armed soldiers can't be heroes... but unarmed civilians... c'mon people, that tops the cake!
Consider me vented.
